Tanya Buxton (she/her) – Cosmetic, Medical and Traditional Tattoo Artist
Tanya began her career as a traditional tattoo artist in 2009. She travelled the world for several years gaining experience and knowledge, working at various tattoo studios and conventions and placing herself firmly within the tattoo industry. She is the proud owner of Paradise Tattoo Studio and founder of breast cancer charity, the Mastectomy Tattooing Alliance. Tanya is an internationally recognised industry leader in her fields and is renowned for her pioneering skills in 3D areola-nipple tattooing and medical tattooing; and has been featured in many news, books, podcasts and online blogs, including the Wall Street Journal, VICE, BBC News, BBC Radio, and many more.
In 2015 she expanded her skill set into cosmetic and medical tattooing, and completed a VTCT Level 4 in Micropigmentation, offering a variety of specialist tattoo services including 3D areola-nipple tattoos and tattoo treatments for brows, eyeliner, lips and scalp. Using her extensive knowledge and experience in tattooing, she broadened er skills further in 2020 with advanced training in Micro Needling and Scar Camouflage treatments to treat a variety of scar tissue and stretch marks.
Tanya’s extensive knowledge and passion for tattooing make her a highly skilled and versatile artist; clients travel far and wide for her caring nature, perfectionist attitude and attention to detail, with many hospitals and clinics referring their patients to her for her services both in the UK and internationally. She works closely with the trans community, supporting people in their transition/journey with her tattooing services. Tanya prides herself on building trusting relationships with her clients, ensuring they have a comfortable experience in a safe and caring environment.
