We believe patients have all the right to choose the care they feel is right for them. The intention behind yesterday’s statement was to ensure our patients are aware of the issue and be as transparent as possible with those still waiting for an appointment. We have been receiving concerning emails from patients stating they have been contacted by a “sister clinic” and informed that Mr Inglefield is currently on extended leave and cannot see patients for the foreseeable.

We would like to reassure our patients that this is not the case and that we are currently working through the waitlist, seeing patients on a daily basis. We also take the breach of patients’ data very seriously and this has been reported to the ICO which is currently investigating the incident. At this moment in time, we do not believe the information is being used maliciously, however, we are working alongside the ICO for guidance.

"My GCS was completed on 17th October in London and now that I am back in Jersey and recovering extremely well, it is right and proper that I should praise the staff at The London Transgender Clinic for saving, then confirming my life.

I have known the wonderful Mr. Christopher Inglefield since 2014 (he performed my FFS in early 2015). I have always received Rolls Royce treatment from everyone at Wimpole Street and my recent experience was no different. My GCS had been delayed since June 2020, mainly due to Covid restrictions. At every moment during that time, Mr Inglefield kept me informed and, although it was an extremely stressful time for me in limbo, I trusted that I would finally get my GCS.

From the moment I checked into the Fitzrovia Hospital, the day before my surgery, I was treated with extreme kindness, professionalism and care by Dr. "Indiana" Jones and his staff (special thanks to Christina and Esther). On Sunday I met my anaesthetist (lovely man) and saw Mr Inglefield again along with the irrepressible Senior Nurse Mary Burke (my old friend) and new to the team Coline.

My surgery went extremely well and this is down to the five star treatment that I received from the LTC team and every single nurse, auxiliary and general staff at the Fitzrovia.

So of course I am absolutely over the moon with how my chest looks and more importantly.. how it FEELS. To not only experience gender euphoria but to actually feel at home in my body feels absolutely f*cking amazing. (I genuinely cannot stop placing my hand on my chest and smiling). I can’t wait until I no longer have to wear this compression vest but at least I will never ever have to bind again. I am still a bit sore and I had a bit of a reaction to my dressings so I feel annoyingly itchy too but I am feeling better and better everyday (I just have to keep reminding myself not to use my arms toooo much).

SCOTTISH RUGBY UNION BANS TRANSGENDER WOMEN FROM CONTACT RUGBY
"The Scottish Rugby Union (SRU) will ban transgender women from female contact rugby competitions from February 1, the governing body said on Tuesday after carrying out a review of its gender participation policy.
