Psychological Assessment, Counselling and Psychotherapy London
At The London Transgender Clinic we work with a number of Consultant Psychologist and Psychiatrist Gender Specialists who can provide you with psychological assessments and follow-up sessions including reviews for endorsement of hormone therapy, reviews for endorsement of transgender surgery, psychotherapy and specialist reports for legal gender recognition applications.
Not everyone will be suitable for a psychological assessment initially. In order to provide you with the most suitable care pathway, at first, we will provide you with the details of one of our trusted Consultant Psychologists or Psychiatrists. You will be directed to the most appropriate practitioner, who will then contact you with a set of questions necessary for your application. It is a screening method that must be adhered to. Following receipt of the screening questions, your Consultant Psychologist or Psychiatrist will arrange an appointment with you directly.
To find out more about which Consultant is available, please contact us on 0207 487 0910 or email us at [email protected] and we will provide you with the necessary contact details to make your appointment.
Please note: Following the receipt of your screening questionnaire the Consultant Psychologist or Psychiatrist may advise you that they are not suitable to complete your assessment and refer you to an alternative resource.
