Maeve McRitchie – Business Manager
Maeve joined LTC in February 2016 as a Practice Nurse, having obtained her Adult Nursing degree and accumulating experience in both an acute medical and surgical hospital setting. In May 2017, Maeve was promoted to Business Manager as her management, interpersonal skills and incredible ability to strive for excellence had not gone unnoticed. In her new role she now focuses on business development and ensuring we offer a wide range of services to meet the needs of all our patients and those interested in learning more about transgender care.
Charles Lucas – General Manager
Charles joined the LTC team in June 2019. He brings seven years of executive business development experience and most recently was General Services Manager from BMI and Phoenix Hospital Group. Charles now manages the daily operations of LTC, ensuring the creation and implementation of a strategy designed to improve the business and key performance goals for functions, providers, staff and service users.
Lucy Collick – Administration Supervisor
Having worked in the Travel and Tourism industry previously as cabin crew, Lucy decided to bring her customer service skills to LTC. Lucy has thoroughly enjoyed broadening her knowledge into a medical setting and loves that she can continue to meet a wide range of people from all walks of life. Utilising her warm and friendly approach, she endeavours to make all our patients feel welcome and at home within the clinic, ensuring all their questions are answered from the moment they arrive, right through to the end of their LTC journey.
Chelsea Akoto – Procurement Officer
Chelsea joined LTC in April 2019 after previously working in Pathology in London. With her keen interest in the medical industry and aesthetics industry, she decided to join LTC as a Practice Administrator. She has since been promoted to our Procurement Officer which allows her to focus on evaluating our supplies, products and services, to ensure they are cost-effective and high quality as we aim to deliver nothing less to our patients.
Megan O’Brien – Senior Practice Administrator
Megan joined the team at LTC in January 2019 as a practice administrator and has since progressed to Hormone Team Lead. She is responsible for the day-to-day running of the hormone clinic, communicating with patients and their clinicians, and supporting the nurse-prescribers in their roles. Megan has previously worked as a course coordinator in the mental health sector, working closely with the students to develop systems led by their experiences. She is committed to learning about and improving all aspects of our patients’ journey to help the team continue to provide exemplary transgender healthcare. Megan enjoys getting to know the patients throughout their transition, making sure they always feel heard, comfortable, and well informed.
